Jake Forrest Lunsford is a writer from the Brevard Fault Zone, where the darkened hollers of Southern Appalachia widen into the rolling Piedmont. His work is accented by both, equally influenced by the shadow of mountains and the red clay he cannot seem to scrape from his boots. Fighting his generation’s lost wars deeply impact the perspectives within his published, and yet to be published, work.

His writing has appeared in Garden & Gun Magazine, Fair Chase, Backcountry Journal, On The Fly Magazine, The Providence Journal, Tom Beckbe Field Journal, and others forthcoming.
