About Jake

Jake Forrest Lunsford is a Marine, father and husband, and Southerner. He also is filled with existential angst, self-loathing, and the nearly impossible urge to see what lies over yonder ridge. All of this has led to his predilection towards self-destructive activities, such as writing, and sometimes fly fishing.

His writing interests include war, culture, the environment, hunting and fishing, and the preservation of our Great Experiment. His work has appeared in The Providence Journal and Tom Beckbe Field Journal, with more to come.
